Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based, contemplative, stress reduction program that improves a host of physical and mental health conditions. The primary objective of this program is the discovery and development of one’s own inherent resources for dealing more effectively with stress, physical, and/or mental pain, and illness.

This seminal mind-body program was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, founder and creator of the MBSR Program at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts over 35 years ago. Widely used today in healthcare and education with extensive research showing that developing awareness through mindfulness practice can lead to improved overall health and well-being

Offered as both a group experience as well as an individual program, participants can choose what works best for their schedule.

MBSR Programs and Classes

Over the course of the MBSR program, you will acquire a toolkit for integrating mindfulness into your daily life through both formal and informal practice. Scientific evidence shows that MBSR participants experience:

MBSR is an 8-week, 9 session course designed to develop and integrate mindfulness practices into everyday life, using meditation, body awareness, and gentle movement. Learn tools to reduce stress and live with greater ease, strength and resilience. Improve your sense of balance, calm and clarity while learning self-care practices of mindfulness.

Individual Mindfulness Training

Zen Garden Rock

MBSR Individual is a 5-session program providing the essential practices and concepts of MBSR tailored to your specific needs and objectives. Meeting bi-weekly over the course of 2 months (8 weeks).
