Integrated Pathways to Healing is owned and operated by holistic nurse and mind-body specialist, Betsy Murphy. Betsy’s professional vision and intention is to integrate eastern and western knowledge and modalities to create optimal wellness and health. An educator in the field of mind-body medicine, she teaches professionals, individuals, and corporations in private and class setting.
To positively affect health and well-being, mind-body medicine connects all aspects mind, body, and emotions. It’s a fundamental approach to enhance the natural healing within us through self-awareness and self-care. Integrated Pathways to Healing provides strategies that promote health and well-being, through mind-body methods including meditation, yoga therapy, relaxation, imagery, individual and group programs, and yoga therapy teacher training.
Board certified in holistic nursing since 2006, Betsy has studied and practiced yoga and meditation for many decades and has been in private practice for over 12 years. She earned a master’s degree in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University, and was educated in nursing at Loyola University, Chicago. Also, she is Board Certified in holistic nursing since 2006 and a certified yoga therapist, trained by Integrative Yoga Therapy and Parayoga. She is an accredited teacher of MBSR from UMass Center for Mindfulness in Healthcare and Society.
